Why MEEi?

The MEEI program is unique in that it has been designed to assist young entrepreneurs in both developing and enhancing business ideas and providing resources and support to take those ideas to market. As part of the degree requirements, students are required to launch their own start-ups with an emphasis on innovation and new technologies. The program is rigorous and requires students to pass several tollgates before a start-up can be funded by the university or be eligible for government grants. The tollgate assesses the market viability of the business plans and brings together professionals and business leaders that provide expertise and mentorship to MEEI students. The program is diverse - bringing together students from many countries who share their ideas and perspectives. The program also provides practical training for entrepreneurs in areas of public speaking, marketing and networking.
